We are looking for a Trading Support Administrator to join us on this journey. The Trading Support Administrator plays a critical role in supporting daily trading floor operations, engaging directly with customers, coordinating internal processes, and ensuring accurate documentation across multiple operational workflows. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment influenced by market activity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet walk-in customers promptly and courteously, ensuring their orders are processed accurately and efficiently
• Document all walk-in customer material. This consists of updating our system with which orders are picked up or dropped off. This can be a fast-paced position based on market conditions.
• Run daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for bookkeeping and operational purposes
• Coordinate and track new client onboarding, including processing their AML, background checks, and document collection
• Communicate with Treasury and Finance to ensure credit memos, cash receipts, and vendor payables are handled as indicated by traders
• Answer support related phone calls
• Manage Trading Support group inbox
• Manage office supplies and restock as needed while adhering to budget
• Collection of past due contract receivables
• Ownership of banking instruction verification process
• Contact point for payables questions from suppliers and clients
• Review supplier invoices for accuracy and present cost savings opportunities to department heads
• Management of paper checks, receipts and issuance (electronic payments are handled by Treasury/Finance team)
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by the Sr. Traders and Managing Partners

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree in business or accounting or 5+ years of successful industry experience
• Experience in commodity trading or precious metals is ideal
• Ability to identify potential issues and proactively problem solve
• This person should be a self-starter, comfortable working in a startup as an individual and rolling up their sleeves, as well as capable of building a functional area and team over time.
• This person must bring positive energy, be a team player, motivated by the overall success of the company and not just individual accomplishments or recognition.
• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills are essential to success
