As a Tractor-trailer wash technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the fleet and keeping the trucks and/or trailers clean and orderly. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining the cleanliness of the work area. Schedule: Sunday & Monday 6:00 am-4:30 pm (some other days when needed). You will contribute by: Wash, clean, and sanitize interior and exterior of trucks and/or trailers. Fuel trucks. Performance basic maintenance such as checking tire pressure and fluids. Safely operate and maneuver trucks and/or trailers in the yard. Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping, and removing debris from work area. Other duties as assigned by a Manager and/or Supervisor. Notify manager of any potential unsafe equipment, conditions, or mechanical issues. Skills required include ability to operate and maneuver trucks and trailers in the yard, compliance with company policies, ability to read, write and speak proficiently, ability to understand and follow instructions, commitment to work safely, reliability, and ability to maintain productivity and work expectations. Physical requirements include safely operating trucks and trailers, moving in and out of truck cabs, cleaning trucks and trailers, occasionally climbing up to 4 feet, smelling, crawling, kneeling, talking, feeling, fingering, gripping, carrying up to 60 lbs, frequently lifting up to 60 lbs, continuously stooping, pivoting, reaching, standing, walking on various surfaces, and handling hearing, seeing, and repetitive movements using both hands and feet. Ability to work in a variety of temperatures. Must have valid Driver's License; CDL preferred. Computer proficiency and professional courteous manner required. Environment is a grocery warehouse with temperatures from 50F to 90F.
