We are looking for a Textile Print Designer to bring fresh, elevated print designs to our collections. We’re seeking a highly creative individual with a background in textile print design — who has an eye for color, pattern, and trend-driven prints that align with the Mumu aesthetic. As a Textile Print Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with the Creative Directors to source, curate and develop original prints as well as create color pallets for our collections. The ideal candidate is an artist with the ability to create exclusive, market-relevant prints and compelling concepts that seamlessly blend style, color, and fabric to resonate with the Mumu customer. Must be within reasonable commuting distance of the Mumu HQ in Los Angeles, CA. This role's schedule is hybrid and works in an open office at the HQ.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to source, take inspiration and make into a print that is in line with the Mumu customer

  • Manages multiple collection calendars and collaborates across all departments to keep all teams aligned and on schedule

  • Manages and updates internal print tracker or WIP on a daily basis in order to update creatives on weekly progress

  • Creates seasonal print and color palette alongside creative directors and color match across fabrications/collections

  • Organizes and coordinates all outside print vendor meetings

  • Ability to create elevated graphics for t-shirts that are in line with the Mumu customer

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment, flexible in changing direction as needed.

  • Familiar and comfortable working in Adobe Suites Apps- specifically Illustrator

  • Must be able to execute CAD illustrations in Adobe Illustrator

  • PC literate with basic understanding and skills in using keyboard and Microsoft office products

  • Candidate must be highly organized with ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency and be a team player

  • Must have experience in measuring garments and garment construction

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7-10 years experience working as an in-house print designer

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in graphic or print design

  • Dynamic analytical, problem solving and project management abilities- must be a self starter

  • Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities

  • Knowledge with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Knowledge with Adobe applications- Photoshop & Illustrator

  • Able to work and think independently as well as part of a team.

  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail

  • Self-starter
