Role Description: The Data Analyst Intern specifically supports data management teams by performing routine tasks such as data entry, data cleaning, and basic analysis. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: As a summer Intern, we will provide you with: A real-world experience on exciting projects Connections with recent college graduates and our company leaders Performance of assignments under the direct supervision of a department lead Performance of other work-related duties as needed Your essential functions include, but are not limited to: Data Cleanup: Identify and correct inaccuracies, duplicates, and inconsistencies in customer contact data. Data Validation: Verify the accuracy of data entries and update records as necessary. Data Entry: Assist in entering new customer contact information into the database. Reporting: Generate reports on data quality and provide insights on areas for improvement. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data cleanup processes and procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities : Not applicable Key Working Relationships: Skills & Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable amounts of training are provided. Required Skills & Qualifications Required Experience: Experience using Excel to analyze data and identify anomalies. Ability to work as an individual contributor with successful task completion. Minimum Education Requirements: Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program Must have at least 30 credit hours complete Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average Required Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in data. Problem-solving and strategic critical thinking abilities. Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
