Structural Steel Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Structural Steel Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of structural steel projects from initial concept through completion. This includes managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and by all applicable quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee all project activities, including fabrication, erection, and installation.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project team.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Effectively communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation and closeout procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and erection project management.
• Strong understanding of structural steel design and construction principles.
• Experience working with AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
