Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with actual balances.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple development projects, maintaining precision and consistency.
• Manage accounts receivable processes, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.
• Handle accounts payable tasks, ensuring vendor invoices are processed and paid promptly.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to support ongoing projects and address financial needs.
• Compile and submit closing pay application documents to lenders with attention to detail.
• Assist the company president with ad hoc financial tasks and reporting as needed.• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably within a related industry.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Strong ability to prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end closing processes and delivering timely financial statements.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred but not required.
