Senior Payroll Specialist

Pay: $60,000k-$70,000 (based on experience)

Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage complex payroll processes and ensure compliance with union agreements and prevailing wage requirements. This role involves reconciliation, reporting, and leadership in payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update payroll job master folders and related documentation
• Process and reconcile payroll, tax, and 401(k) files weekly
• Prepare certified payroll reports and multiple worksite reports
• Manage PTO accruals and bank reconciliations
• Generate monthly and quarterly compliance reports

Minimum Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

• 5+ years of payroll or accounting experience, preferably in payroll within construction
• AS degree in Accounting; strong math and computer skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email; experience with Sage systems a plus
