Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This Special Education teaching opportunity focuses on K-3rd grade self-contained classrooms, supporting students with autism who have social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The position includes working with a classroom team consisting of 2-3 paraprofessionals and serving a maximum of 10 students, ensuring a supportive and focused educational environment.
Key qualifications:
Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with paraprofessionals and school staff, using evidence-based strategies tailored to students on the autism spectrum, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere to promote social-emotional growth.

Job Type: Contract position for the school year (NSY)
