Job Details We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the financial activities of the company, ensuring legal compliance, and providing accurate financial reports and analysis. This role will provide the right candidate with an excellent opportunity to further their career within a vibrant and forward-thinking environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
- Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
- Managing month-end and year-end closing.
- Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
- Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
- Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
- . Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the finance industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and other accounting principles.
