The Senior Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing surgical instruments, and managing Central Services supplies to support surgical procedures. The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for all task-based Central Services activities. Central Services activities include, but are not limited to: decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials, and receiving and distribution of Central Services supplies.
