Gallup, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist in Omaha, NE to help clients effectively use data to make better decisions. Will apply knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques to a wide variety of challenging projects, each one unique and customized to our clients' complex global questions. Will work on the biggest stage for researchers focusing on explaining and predicting large-scale social behavior using data from Gallup, the web and third parties. Will work with parametric, nonparametric, linear and non-linear methods and in feature selection and variable transformation.

Min. req.:

• Master's degree required, degree in data science statistics or similar degree.
• At least two years of professional work experience conducting analysis and writing code in Python and R.
• At least two years of hands-on experience with the mathematical fundamentals of machine learning and statistics, with an emphasis on nonparametric and nonlinear methods required.
• At least two years of hands-on experience with libraries such as pandas, NumPy and PySpark required.
• At least two years' experience with database and storage using SQL or Postgre SQL
• At least two years' experience with data visualization using Microsoft Power BI or Tableau or R or Python.
• At least two years' experience working in Solution development and workflow creation using Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform services and APIs.
• At least two years' experience in building scalable solution using R, Python and SQL to perform automated analysis, reporting and document generation.
• At least two years' experience with Evaluation, in-depth documentation, and proposal preparation for onboarding of new technologies.
