The Senior Cloud Network Engineer role supports application connectivity in a hybrid environment, encompassing both cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premises infrastructure. The engineer will troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, create firewall rules, and maintain cloud networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues related to networking and security.
- Creating firewall rules for environments.
- Assisting the Operations and cloud team as requested.
- Maintaining and keeping track of all technical duties related to cloud networking such as design, implementation, and support.
- Managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network performance issues.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto VM Series firewall and Panorama configuration and optimization.
- Experience with routers, routing protocols, transit gateways, load balancing, and overall cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routes, and security.
- Experience with security best practices and implementing security controls in a cloud environment.
- Experience with VPN technologies to include IPsec and SSL technologies.
- Ability to work on large TCP/IP networks, design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with name services and resolution, associated IP assignments.
- Knowledge of core network services (including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM technologies).
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud networking infrastructure issues.
- Self-motivated with strong team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud infrastructure components: compute, storage, network management, and monitoring (network and security).
- Knowledge of WAF as a Service (AWS, Azure, GCP).
