Pizza Bocca Lupo in San Jose, CA, is looking for a senior artisan pizza chef maker / lead or shift supervisor to join our team. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience and who can handle high volume. We currently have a part-time position available, and we are looking for someone available at least Tuesday through Saturday.
We are located on San Pedro Street in downtown San Jose. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.
Pay including tips $28-$34/hr ($20-$22/hr plus $8-$12 tips/hr).
We follow the Vera Pizza Napoletana pizza making traditions and we are looking to expand our team! Our current opening is as follows:
Senior Pizzaiolo/ Pizza Chef / Shift Supervisor
We are in search of someone who shares our passion for pizza! Must have previous pizza making experience and an assertive, team-player. Prepare ingredients and dough
Interface with customers
Stretch, top and cook pizzas
Clean up kitchen at the end of the night
Work overtime when an extra hand is needed and cover shifts.
Qualifications:
-Authorized to work in the United States (we use E-verify;
-Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Able to work weekends and holidays when required (we are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years days).
-Servsafe certification and adhere to strict food hygiene standards
-Enjoy interaction with customers and understand they drive our business.
