Job Description

Whispering Pines Golf Club is looking for a Full-Time Security Officer for the night shift.

The purpose of the Security Officer at WPGC is to assist in the daily operations and duties directly related to the safety and security of members, guests, and employees.

Job Duties

• Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders via Guard House.
• Patrol property utilizing golf cart.
• Engage in conflict resolution on site.
• Maintains daily activity logs in accordance to post orders.
• Creates incident reports for unique incidents on site.
• Observes and reports all suspicious activity in accordance with post orders.
• Ensures all WPGC equipment is well maintained and accounted for before, during and after each shift.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outside in the elements, as necessary.
• Additional job duties may be assigned, as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

**No experience required. Must be willing to become a commissioned officer (armed guard). Certification training paid for by employer.

• Must have clean background and pass a drug screen.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must have an excellent customer service personality.
• MUST be self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
• MUST be willing to work weekends, holidays, overnights and overtime, as needed.
• Must wear a uniform while on-duty. (Furnished by employer)
• Candidate must purchase equipment needed for job.

Pay

• $14 hr
