As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Appleton, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within an aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the site, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and exceptional customer service. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document your activities and communicate with your team. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on observations, incidents, and/or activities during the shift.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address site-specific needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
