Job Description

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is needed to support the health and wellness of students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position, spanning the current school year, offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive educational environment by providing essential nursing care and health services.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine nursing care to students, including administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and performing health screenings
• Respond to student health emergencies promptly and effectively
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate relevant information to school staff and families
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual health plans
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid LPN or LVN license in the applicable state
• Experience working in pediatric or school health nursing preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of K-12 health regulations and protocols
