Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP AMS (Application Management Services) S/4HANA Project Manager with hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to lead and manage post-implementation support and enhancement initiatives. This role includes overseeing AMS delivery across SAP modules and ensuring optimal service performance in both implementation and support contexts within SAP Public Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary contact for SAP AMS activities across S/4HANA (including SAP Public Cloud implementations or support).
- Lead day-to-day AMS operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and change management in accordance with SLAs.
- Oversee delivery across both onshore and offshore teams; ensure alignment with customer goals and business priorities.
- Provide guidance and governance in SAP Public Cloud support models, including quarterly release management and fit-to-standard approaches.
- Coordinate and track minor enhancements, configuration requests, and service transitions with a focus on Public Cloud standards and limitations.
- Engage with business and IT stakeholders to align AMS roadmap with evolving needs.
- Monitor key metrics (SLA/KPI), identify trends, and drive service improvement plans.
- Manage cross-functional teams covering modules such as FI/CO, FSCM, PPM, CPQ, CPI, ABAP, and others within the S/4HANA Public Cloud framework.
- Conduct regular service reviews, compliance checks, and stakeholder updates.
Job Requirements
Details:
Required Skills and Experience: - 8+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years as an AMS Project Manager.
- Minimum 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation or extensive support experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP Public Cloud capabilities, constraints, and quarterly release cycles.
- Proficiency in ITIL-based service delivery; ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing distributed teams in an onshore/offshore model.
- Familiarity with ticketing and service management tools such as SAP Solution Manager, ServiceNow, or Remedy.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Work Environment: - Must be available to work in Central Standard Time (CST) hours.
- Primarily remote with occasional on-site meetings depending on client needs
