About the Role
Jack Laurie Group is expanding our footprint in new home construction, and we're looking for a driven Sales Specialist to build and grow relationships with home builders across Indiana. This role is responsible for securing new business, expanding market share, and building long-term partnerships with production, semi-custom, and custom home builders.
This is a hunter-focused sales role for someone who thrives on winning new business and building strong trade relationships in the residential construction world.
What You'll Do
- Drive new business development with home builders and residential developers
- Grow market share in new construction communities throughout Indiana
- Build strong relationships with purchasing teams, construction managers, and division leadership
- Manage bid opportunities and participate in builder programs
- Conduct job site visits, subdivision walkthroughs, and model home meetings
- Partner with estimating and project teams to deliver accurate proposals
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements
- Monitor competitor activity and construction trends across Indiana
- Track leads, bids, and pipeline activity through CRM
What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience required
- Experience selling into new home construction or building materials preferred
- Strong understanding of builder purchasing cycles and bid processes
- Proven ability to hunt, close, and grow territories
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Driven, competitive, and goal-oriented work style
- CRM pipeline management experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide

Schedule & Travel
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Field-based role with weekly travel across Indiana
