Sales Associate – K–12 Educational Solutions

Location: Remote within Northern California ( To be considered, you must reside in the Sacramento Area )

Travel: Approximately 50%

Are you passionate about helping schools navigate and adopt impactful digital learning tools for their students? A leading EdTech provider is looking for a Sales Associate to support regional Account Executives in building relationships and growing business throughout Northern California.

This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented sales professional who is comfortable presenting to educators, coordinating outreach efforts, and helping schools discover impactful, tech-enabled solutions for student learning.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Account Executives with outreach, presentations, and relationship-building
  • Attend conferences, training sessions, and sales events (virtual and in-person)
  • Travel throughout the Sacramento region and surrounding areas (~50%)
  • Coordinate and deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and customer communications
  • Generate and manage sales leads and activity reports
  • Support marketing and sales campaigns to expand regional presence
  • Participate in trade shows and professional events to build brand awareness
  • Maintain accurate CRM and client database records
  • Stay informed on K–12 education trends and competitive insights
  • Help prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts
  • Support pricing and negotiation efforts
  • Answer customer questions regarding product features, pricing, and implementation
  • Assist in the sales cycle from initial contact to closing
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or related field
  • At least 2 years of sales or customer-facing experience (EdTech or education market preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Zoom; experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A proactive, self-directed approach and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 50%, including occasional overnight trips
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must reside in or near the Sacramento area
