We have an exciting opportunity for a RF Electrical Engineer II based in Forest, Mississippi with responsibilities having significant impact, recognition, and growth in the organization. The RF Engineer II will have responsibility for the design, development, and sustainment of the high-power antenna test facilities. This includes leading/working with test optimizations, and test time reduction efforts, as well as implementing new test capability in both high-power near-field and far-field ranges in support of the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Mid-Band program. In addition, the candidate will provide guidance in troubleshooting and failure investigations of the Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) on the production line.
Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major with a minimum of 2 + years minimum experience in RF design/development.
- Experience with far-field and near-field antenna measurements.
- Ability to perform Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) calibration, test, and performance validation.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AESA hardware and antenna performance and complex RF/DC subsystems.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value: - Experience performing both far-field and near-field antenna measurements.
- Experience in Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) calibration, test, and performance validation.
- Experience working in high-power antenna test facilities.
- Experience with design, setup, and maintenance of antenna measurement systems.
- Experience using additional software development tools (e.g. Python, C++).
- Experience working in a factory production environment and utilizing production tools (e.g. CMES).
- Experience using Matlab for data analysis and test development.
- Design experience leading to production of microwave components
- RF/Microwave Design Verification Test (DVT) experience with network/spectrum analyzers and/or antenna measurement systems
- Comfortable interfacing with technical engineers and presenting to upper-level management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of security clearance (secret or higher) within the past 2 years.

Forest, MS:
The salary range for this role is 57,000 USD - 115,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
