Position Overview
As a Public Relations Assistant, you’ll help bring nonprofit campaigns to life through community outreach, event coordination, and impactful storytelling. This is an entry-level role with paid training, perfect for recent graduates or career changers passionate about making a difference.
What You’ll Do
Assist in executing PR, marketing, and communications strategies for nonprofit clients
Coordinate logistics for outreach events, pop-up campaigns, and brand activations
Support event planning, set-up, and on-site operations to ensure smooth execution
Craft compelling campaign messages and promotional materials
Distribute branded materials and support visual merchandising at events
Track attendance, engagement metrics, and inventory for campaign reporting
Build relationships with vendors, venues, volunteers, and community partners
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve outreach performance
Qualifications
Passion for nonprofits, social causes, or purpose-driven marketing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with attention to detail
Professional, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced settings
Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit
No prior PR or marketing experience required — training provided
