Your role

support a strong team culture and build partnerships both internal and external while increasing depth and breadth of client relationships

formulate and effectively communicate strong financing ideas based on understanding of municipal products, client objectives and client constraints

serve as the day to day contact and coverage banker for Transportation issuer clients

be able to play a supporting-lead role in the coverage of key accounts while simultaneously building relationships with new clients

capably respond to client requests for proposals delivering strong quantitative analysis and clear written responses

participate in client presentations verbally presenting clear financing ideas and recommendations

proactively seek out and volunteer for special projects which help the business continue its steep growth trajectory

Your team

Youll be working as an integral member of the Public Finance team. We are increasing our footprint within the Public Finance space, focusing on building our regional and industry capabilities. UBS provides financial advice and solutions to individual, institutional, governmental and corporate clients worldwide through its four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, the Investment Bank Personal & Corporate Banking, and Asset Management. Public Finance resides in the capital markets business that collaborates across Global Wealth Management and the Investment Bank. It serves the needs of local government entities and not-for-profit organizations.

Your expertise

a university degree in business administration, economics, finance or similar

3+ years of experience in a similar position or related financial services position

banking experience in the Public Finance/ Municipal space

quantitative modeling skills and aptitude

experience providing client support and consultative services

a strong communicator, with experience presenting to clients

able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs by leveraging UBS's uniquely positioned retail and institutional distribution platform
