Position Overview:

As a Night Auditor at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Punta Gorda, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting guests with their needs, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently and make a significant impact on our guests' experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the nightly audit of the hotel's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Check in late-arriving guests and assist with any inquiries or requests they may have.
• Handle guest check-outs and settle accounts, including processing payments and providing receipts.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a secure and organized front desk area.
• Prepare daily reports and distribute them to the appropriate departments.
• Ensure the safety and security of the hotel by monitoring surveillance cameras and performing routine security checks.
• Prepare full breakfast of hot foods and coffee to provide early morning breakfast setup
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Exceptional customer service
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including hotel property management software (PMS).
• Ability to stay awake between the hours of 11 PM and 7 AM
• Ability to stand behind a desk for long periods of time.
• Overnight shifts, including weekends and Holidays are required.
