The Provider Education Senior Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining high-quality training programs and educational resources for internal Medica staff and external provider partners. This is not a provider-facing role. Instead, it focuses on the development of tools, resources, and content that enable providers to interact successfully with the health plan.
This role supports Medica's commitment to operational excellence and provider engagement by creating industry-specific training content and support materials. The position requires strong collaboration across teams, independent decision-making, and the ability to adapt content to meet evolving business needs.
Key Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will have a solid background in instructional design and educational writing, with a passion for learning and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly. They will demonstrate strong writing skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work. This position is a hub-based role which will work primarily remotely but may require some onsite presence. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must reside within a commuting distance to one of the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI. Onsite frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.
The full salary range for this position is $61,500 - $105,400. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to compensation, Medica offers a generous total rewards package that includes competitive medical, dental, vision, PTO, Holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services and many other benefits to support our employees.
