Overview:

Our client, a well-established and growing Civil Engineering, Land Use Planning, and Land Surveying firm located in downtown Vancouver, Washington, is seeking a self-motivated Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead and grow our survey team. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA.

Pay range: $110K - $160K

Benefits:

• Paid holidays: 9
• PTO: Starting at 10 days
• Sick Leave: One hour for every 40-hours worked (minimum 5 days per year)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage survey team operations, both in the field and office
• Perform field surveys using modern robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, drones, and data collector technology
• Apply field-to-finish techniques and ensure compliance with company standards and safety rules
• Complete a variety of civil engineering and land surveying projects
• Manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with other team members and departments

Requirements:

• 5+ years of surveying experience with transportation, utility, residential subdivision, and commercial site development projects
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Washington required; Oregon license preferred (or willingness to obtain soon after hire)
• Experience with Trimble Total Stations, GNSS Receivers, and data collectors
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Ability to work efficiently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated, with a desire to grow with the company
