Job Description

The Associate position is an integral part of Council Capital’s Investment Team , responsible for evaluating new opportunities, conducting in-depth due diligence, and supporting portfolio company initiatives. The Associate will work closely with Partners, Principals, Vice Presidents, and the Value Creation Team to drive key insights and outcomes.

• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and industry research to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Support due diligence processes, including market analysis, operational assessments, and legal reviews.
• Prepare materials for investment committee presentations, portfolio updates, and board meetings.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Build relationships with industry executives, advisors, and intermediaries to enhance deal flow.

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting, with a focus on M&A or financial analysis.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree from a respected university.
