Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Data Scientist to join a high-impact, innovation-driven team within a global leader in the Entertainment & Media industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of advanced AI/ML technology, large-scale data, and storytelling-driven business objectives.

• Design and deploy ML/AI solutions for content personalization, forecasting, and business optimization.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and production-grade model architectures.
• Perform deep statistical analyses to extract insights from large, complex datasets.
• End-to-end ownership from feature engineering to model performance monitoring.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Engineering, Product, and Content teams.
• Stay current with the latest in AI/ML tools, trends, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practice development.
• Champion data quality, model governance, and responsible AI use.

• MS or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering).
• 10+ years in data science roles with hands-on ML solution delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and libraries like scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and tools like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery (preferred).
• Deep understanding of statistical methods, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong communication skills and leadership experience.

• Experience in the media, entertainment, or streaming domain.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex or similar LLM/AI tooling platforms.
