Job Description
Title: Polisher - Finisher
Type - Full-time
Location: Laval, QC
Pay Range: $22-27/hr
Responsibilities
Study specifications & drawings of articles requiring finishing.
Sand veneer, hardwood and other materials for preparation of topcoat process preparation.
Create stain recipe on samples in order to obtain customer approval.
Apply stain as per requirements.
Sand varnish according to company standards, maintaining flatness & removing defects.
Operate relevant tools and machines for sanding & polishing tasks.
Pay attention to detail and ensure quality of craftsmanship.
Skills and qualifications
Completed a vocational training in finishing.
Competent in polishing high-end products.
Possesses excellent manual skills.
Able to read and interpret drawings.
Capable of working both independently and in a team setting.
Possess a min of 2 years of similar or equivalent professional work experience.
Required experience
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Aerospace
