Job Description

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists and anesthesiologist assistants.  

  Opportunity Highlights

· Engaged Anesthesiology team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes
· Manageable caseload with no cardiac or trauma cases
· Diverse cases to include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and urology
· Comprehensive compensation plan to include $532,027 salary, $50,000 sign-on bonus and $100,000 in retention incentives over five years.
· Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status
·12 weeks of vacation, Biannual CME allowance of $6,000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Requirements

• Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
  
• Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
  
• Active hospital staff membership
