Are you a hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a cook at our omelet station at our breakfast buffet. We need someone who can handle preparing the food station, and cooking a high volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably cooking in a high-volume environment, or fast-casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. We need a team player who is ready to work alongside other crew members and has excellent time-management skills. If this describes you, apply today! This is an hourly based position with additional tips that can be made at the station.

Responsibilities

•Prepare omelets in accordance with the instructions/items stated and/or wanted by the hotel guest
•Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
•Finish each shift by sweeping the floor, mopping, cleaning countertops, and wiping down any other surfaces that were used
•Ready food stations by washing, cutting, dicing, and chopping items needed for food prep
•Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it
•Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules

Qualifications

•Previous experience working in fast food or quick service restaurants is preferred
•Needs to be able to multitask, prioritize, and have excellent time management skills
•Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
•Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
