A leading healthcare organization is seeking a PACS Administrator to oversee enterprise-wide imaging systems for radiology and cardiology. You'll play a key role in maintaining, supporting, and optimizing system performance while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role in Alexandria, VA , ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in imaging systems, HL7, DICOM, and clinical workflows. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support PACS and imaging applications across departments Ensure integration with hospital IT systems and workflow continuity Monitor and maintain compliance with HIPAA and federal standards Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth operations Troubleshoot, optimize, and document system performance and configurations Lead or support relevant project implementations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, radiological procedures, or related field (or equivalent experience) HL7 Interface Creation/Maintenance training 3+ years in imaging systems workflow support (required) 5+ years of experience in healthcare imaging systems management (preferred) 1+ year in DICOM and HL7 standards Experience with project management and security protocols (preferred) Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital clinical environments Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all qualified individuals.
