Ocean Systems Engineer, Lead
Key Role:
Provide expertise and services in the disciplines of maritime structures design and construction, construction of seafloor infrastructure, hydrodynamics, mooring systems, seafloor cable systems, and control of manned, remote ly piloted, and autonomous vehicles. Research, design, develop, and test structures, propulsion units, and undersea vehicles and systems. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications: \n - 10+ years of experience in design, construction, and deployment of undersea infrastructure
\n - Knowledge of Acoustics, Autonomous Undersea Vehicles, Corrosion Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Science, Marine Structures Design, Seakeeping, and Unmanned Surface or Undersea Vehicle design and operations
\n - Secret clearance
\n - Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
