Blank Children's Hospital, a service of UnityPoint Health - Des Moines, is completely dedicated to meeting the unique health care needs of children. Blank Children's is a 108-bed environment that embraces and encourages families to be a part of their child's healing and recovery. Everything from equipment to decor is designed specifically for children.
Responsibilities
Birth care services
Regular checks throughout pregnancy
Deliveries – average between 40-50 deliveries per month
24 hour in house call
Women’s care services
Routine GYN care and reproductive counseling
Manage and treat common health problems for adolescents during puberty and women going through menopause
Annual well-woman exams, vaccinations, fertility counseling, referral for mammography, lab testing
Family planning
Qualifications
CNM
3+ years of experience preferred
Strong labor and delivery background
Eligible to work in the United States
