MIG Welder Plymouth, MN

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team in fabricating and assembling high-quality pavement maintenance equipment and safety components. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong experience in MIG welding and a passion for precision and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on 18-gauge and -inch mild steel components.
  • Fabricate and assemble parts for pavement maintenance equipment, safety railings, and related machinery.
  • Execute welds with accuracy and consistency.
  • Grind and finish welded parts to meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure proper fabrication.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of MIG welding experience or completion of a technical welding program.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding weld symbols.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of MIG welding experience on mild steel.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
