Job Description

A Day in the Life of:

• Tests new materials for compatibility in existing processes.
• Drive process and material change.
• Develop and document process designs, molds, tooling, and fixtures for structural composite products.
• Create Work Instructions for processes and products.
• Assist with root cause analysis.
• Assist NPD process with FMEA activities in support of manufacturing.
• Drive Continuous Improvement through participation in manufacturing planning.
• Review and modify current production methods to reduce rework and increase production efficiencies.

Requirements

What Makes You Qualified:

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing or similar engineering field
• 5 years minimum direct manufacturing experience

Must Haves:

• Experience in CAD software to create models and drawings, SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen or other Continuous Improvement tools.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret shop prints and drawings, technical procedures/specifications or governmental regulations.
• Maximum lifting of 50lbs. (All lifting over 50lbs. requires a team lift).
