Position Summary

Thermoid is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team at our Bellefontaine, OH facility. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the plant maintenance program and organize the maintenance department staff. Coordinates production equipment maintenance and facility with manufacturing operations and engineering. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and repairing of plant equipment
• Establish and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program
• Monitor production processes and interface with manufacturing operations and engineering to minimize downtime and maximize technician utilization, involvement and performance
• Oversee installation to ensure machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications
• Coordinate all facility expansion and equipment acquisition and installation
• Support all safety initiatives and environmental programs

• Experience and Education
• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience

Technical Skills

• Journeyman mechanic or five years mechanical and machine maintenance experience
• Advanced electrical knowledge and skills
• Experience with PLC controlled equipment
• Experience work with CMMS software and department KPI’s
• Ability to manage to and develop a department budget
• Proficient in use of computers with an specific emphasis on MS Office Products
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
