Job Description:

School Health Office LPN Contract Details:

• $30-$32 an hour
• Full time float school nurse, will work daily to cover schools where there is a coverage need or may work in conjunction with another nurse for support
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• Nurse will see students on an as-needed basis in the school health office

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
• Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services
• Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
• Promoting education and wellness initiatives

Requirements:

• New York LPN License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting
