Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver for our client. The ideal candidate will provide 24-hour care, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and companionship. Key Responsibilities: - Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and physical therapy exercises.
- Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medications and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or needs.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging in activities to promote mental and physical wellness.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred.
- Ability to perform basic caregiving tasks, including personal hygiene and physical assistance.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic cooking and housekeeping skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are a plus.
