Volt has recently partnered with Corteva! We are immediately hiring contract Electrician at the Utica, IL location!

As an Electrician you will:

• Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility
• Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures
• Service, troubleshoot and repair any problem of any electrical/mechanical nature
• Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures in everyday work routine
• Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures

This is a full time contract opportunity.
1st shift
Looking to start ASAP!

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and are willing and able to drive a company vehicle as needed
• Possess working knowledge and are willing and able to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC)
• 1 year plus industrial electrician experience
• Experience with a work order and part inventory system
• Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
• Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience).

Pay Rate: $25 /hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
