Department: Legal The Legal team at Signifyd plays a critical role in enabling and protecting the business as it scales. Our team is responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, reviewing privacy and data protection matters, supporting product development, and overseeing corporate governance. We work closely with the Sales, Partnerships, Product, Revenue Operations (RevOps), and Finance teams to help drive business objectives forward. By shaping processes that accelerate deal cycles, we help keep the commercial flywheel turning. At the same time, we ensure Signifyd’s risk exposure is carefully managed and our sensitive data is safeguarded through robust contractual protections. As a Legal Operations and Contracts Manager , you’ll help shape and optimize our legal systems and contracting processes while also drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements. You’ll collaborate with teams across the company to streamline deal cycles, improve our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, and support critical agreements such as NDAs, MSAs, and order forms. Primary Responsibilities: Contract Negotiation: Review, draft and negotiate a variety of contracts, including nondisclosure agreements, master service agreements and statements of work. Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle from intake and drafting to negotiation, execution, and renewal, including maintaining and managing our contract repository and electronic databases. Sales and Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a primary point of contact for the sales team and other internal stakeholders, providing guidance and coordination throughout the contract lifecycle to ensure efficient and compliant deal execution. Process Optimization: Develop, maintain, and enforce policies and standard operating procedures for legal and contracting processes. Continuously identify opportunities to accelerate contract closure by enhancing templates, streamlining negotiation workflows, and clarifying escalation guidelines. System Administration: Act as the primary legal team interface with other departments in structuring cross-departmental functions, including the establishment and enhancement of company-wide IT systems, particularly our CLM tool. Reporting and Analytics: Manage standard and ad-hoc reporting and metrics related to contract volume, turnaround times, and other key performance indicators to inform strategic decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to continually identify opportunities to accelerate contract closure, respond to inquiries effectively, and develop comprehensive contracting policies. Innovation Champion: Be a champion for a better, faster, and simpler way of doing things within the legal and contracting functions. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in a legal operations or contract management role. 4+ years proven experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including MSAs, Order Forms, and NDAs. Demonstrated experience managing the full contract lifecycle process and administration in a time-sensitive environment. Experience managing legal technology, including CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) tools, and managing integrations between systems. Familiarity with Ironclad, Zip, Salesforce, or similar platforms is a strong plus. A self-starter who works with minimal supervision and high integrity, while also being a strong and collaborative team player. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal and business concepts to a variety of audiences. Fluency in Spanish This position can be based anywhere in the US, either fully remote or in one of our offices in San Jose, Seattle, Denver, or NYC.
