Duration: Long term Contract
The role requires availability to work five days a week on-site at a client location in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities include providing litigation support with significant writing and legal research duties. The position may also involve adjudicating claims. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent writing ability are essential for success.
Juris Doctor required
Extensive experience on litigation support projects or related task orders, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and attorneys. Strong legal writing (e.g., memoranda, briefs, related correspondence), legal research skills, and meticulous attention to detail in legal writing. Knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw. Proficiency with computer applications including word processing, databases (e.g., document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging. Familiarity with Client tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
