We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to oversee COMMERCIAL electrical projects and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently, manage service and projects from start to finish, has extensive knowledge of electrical systems, and proficiency in construction management software. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing teams, scheduling projects, and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians on-site to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to establish project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and quality control measures.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within larger projects.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical systems and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in construction site experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and best practices in the industry.
• Excellent skills in project scheduling, budgeting, construction estimating, and quality control processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation processes effectively.
• Prior supervisory experience is essential; strong management skills are required to lead teams effectively.
