As Seamstress, you will create, repair, and tailor garments, uniforms, and fabrics to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will follow design specifications, tailoring techniques, and maintenance guidelines to ensure every piece is crafted to perfection. Simultaneously, you will maintain compliance with hotel procedures and safety standards in the handling and care of materials.

What you will be doing:

• Exceed guest expectations by interacting in a way that makes them feel special through proper and friendly service.
• You will assist colleagues with fitting and issuing of uniforms and locker bags, providing excellent service to your fellow colleagues
• You assist associates with uniform repairs or replacement and alter or repair garments and other articles as needed
• You will coordinate for pick/up and drop off of uniforms and guest’s dry cleaning
• You use the uniform system to pull reports and keep the uniform area organized

• Hourly Rate: $30.75 (Break-In Rate applicable for New Hires as per CBA)

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous customer service experience is an asset
• Previous laundry/valet experience is an asset
• Basic knowledge of technology use (computer, device, radios)
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
