COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS POLICE DEPARTMENT IS TAKING APPLICATIONS
FOR LATERAL POLICE OFFICERS.
POLICE OFFICER - LEO CERTIFIED/FULL-TIME
CLOSIN G DATE: Open until filled. Will be reviewing applications on May 2nd, 2025.
PAY RATE/Hourly: $31.91- $48.20 per hour. Depending on experience, education, and certifications. Typically, year-for-year.

Applicant must be POST LEO Certified. Current or retired police officers are encouraged to apply.
This position works under the direction of a department sergeant; and performs police patrols, investigations, traffic regulation, and related law enforcement activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY:
COMPENSATION:
The pay range for full-time police officers is $31.91 - $48.20 per hour, depending on experience, education, and certifications. Previous years of experience and certifications will be considered when negotiating pay, at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
Shift differential is paid for afternoon shifts 2% and graves 5%.
