Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican is seeking a BE/BC PRN Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our patient centered organization in Santa Cruz, CA.   • 24hr in house call
  • 8hr clinic shifts
• Collaboration : Work alongside a team of well-respected OB/GYN Physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives

As a key member of our team, youll:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in both office and hospital settings.
  • Clinic: Perform routine exams, manage prenatal and postnatal care, and conduct obstetric and gynecological procedures.
  • Hospital: Perform deliveries, surgeries and managing obstetric emergenciesCollaborate closely with Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) in a heavily co-managed care model.
• Engage in innovative practices to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
• Mentor and support junior staff and residents.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
• Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

• Supportive Leadership: Experience approachable and supportive leadership at both the clinic and hospital levels.
• Clinical Resources: Access to a dedicated Medical Assistant, Ultrasonographer and RN in clinic.
• Hospital Facilities:
• Modern, well-equipped birthing center that delivers approximately 1200-1500 babies annually
• Access to Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• 24/7 anesthesia coverage with a team of experienced anesthesiologists.

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license
• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
