About Us:
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Director to lead our technology strategy and oversee the development, implementation, and management of our IT systems. This role is vital to ensuring that our IT infrastructure supports the company's growth, efficiency, and security.
Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the company's business goals, ensuring that technology initiatives support and enhance overall business operations.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team is aligned with the company's vision and equipped to meet the organizations IT needs.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, and enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Cybersecurity: Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and policies to protect the company's data, systems, and networks from threats. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet both short-term needs and long-term strategic objectives. Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and performance.
- Project Management: Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions that drive business value.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on the business. Recommend and implement new technologies that can improve efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies and procedures, including data management, disaster recovery, and IT governance, to ensure operational consistency and security.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to communicate the IT vision and strategy, providing regular updates on IT performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure IT operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security laws. Manage IT-related risks through proactive planning and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading IT teams, managing large-scale IT projects, and driving organizational change through technology.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, enterprise applications, and emerging technologies.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals and drive organizational success.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with executive leadership.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent are highly desirable.
