Job Description

Human Resources Business Partner Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Business Partner Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting HR initiatives, employee engagement, and organizational development strategies. You'll work closely with HR professionals to support a wide range of functions within the department.

This is an unpaid internship.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the HR Business Partners on special projects as they are identified.
  • Research for compliance and HR best practices.
  • Audit personnel files to ensure compliance with Federal, State and licensing regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR sub-teams to produce and promote engagement initiatives and informational resources.
  • Assist HR business partners with developing and updating job descriptions and training materials.
  • Participate in Agency work groups and/or committees as assigned.
  • Shadow different sub-teams in HR to gain a better understanding of the entire human resources function in a non-profit setting.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field from an Accredited College or University
  • Computer proficiency and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
