We are seeking a skilled and committed Insurance Specialist to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. At Koslin & Kahn Oral and Facial Surgery, our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice.

The ideal candidate for the Insurance Specialist position should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate care.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verifying patient insurance – both medical and dental.
• Respond to patient's questions concerning billing and payments.
• Process and post patient insurance payments.
• Research, examine, and process all insurance claims.
• Resolve rejected insurance claims.
• Communicate with insurance companies.
• Work aged accounts.
• Document effective notes for each patient.
• Enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment.

• 1+ years of Medical and Dental Insurance experience required.
• 1+ years of Oral Surgery insurance experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of customer focused experience.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be detailed oriented, accurate, and reliable.
• Ability to multi-task while staying focused on details.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively.
• Follow protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPAA/OSHA).
