Insurance Producer Sales
Office location – Altoona, PA


Our Client, a well-established, local independent insurance agency, is seeking an outgoing, professional and customer focused Personal Lines Insurance Producer to join their sales team.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Property & Casualty License or be able to secure proper licensing upon hire
• Experience in consultative personal lines sales with a successful track record for results
• Ability to multi-task, follow through and follow up
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Strong ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal communications
• Strong computer knowledge and excellent typing skills
• Must be enthusiastic, confident, outgoing, and highly motivated
• High School diploma or GED is required

Responsibilities:

• Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients by Identifying the client’s insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and loss exposures (insurable and uninsurable)
• Develop and calculate suitable coverage based on clients' needs
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints
• Expand business reach through networking techniques
• Comply with insurance standards and regulations

· Creates and maintains prospect and suspect lists

• Track and identify areas of improvement

Schedule and Compensation Overview :

• Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Hourly position based on experience
• Plus, an Excellent Commission plan
