Job Description

We are currently seeking an installer to join our rapidly growing team. The persons in this role will work with a team at repairing, replacing, and installing steel pallet racking along with other storage & handling systems primarily in a warehouse environment.

Installers will need to read and work from instructions and understand specs. The ability to read and understand blueprints/ layouts is preferred, but not required. Installers will assist in all stages of the installation project, from the building of the frames to the loading and off-loading of materials at the shop & on the job sites.

The person in this role must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The persons must be open to consistent travel for up to 2 weeks at a time throughout the southeast region of the country from NC across to TX and down to Miami.

Requirements

• General construction skills preferred (concrete, component assembly, carpentry, drywall, demolition, etc.)
• Experience reading plans/layouts and schematics & CAD preferred
• Experience with installation of pallet racking and steel shelving in commercial and retail facilities preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend repeatedly, and be on your feet during the entirety of the work shift
• Must be good with working at elevated heights on scissor lifts & ariel lifts up to 36'
• PIT Operator (forklift, reach trucks, any powered industrial truck experience is a plus)
• Must be willing to cross-train and perform all other relevant duties as this division continues to grow and develop.
